Kallitype is a 19th-century iron–silver printing process known for its rich tonal depth and warm brown-black image colour. Often described historically as the “poor man’s platinum,” it offers a distinctive aesthetic with excellent detail and a matte surface when contact printed on fine art papers.
This kit contains the essential sensitiser solutions, developer and clearing chemistry required to produce kallitype prints under UV exposure. Prepared in small batches in the U.K. for consistency and reliable working results.
